3D Art - Module 1 Week 4 - Primitive Environment Materials, Lighting & Animation

This week we had to take the primitive environment from last week and essentially complete it to a reasonable level.

I took the models I made in Maya and did some material separation before importing them into Unreal. Then using blueprints I animated several parts of the scene, like the rings and moons around the planets and the floating islands,

The lighting for this project was pretty basic. The only lights were the emisssive materials on the celestial bodies and point lights I used to supplement the soft emissive from the lamp posts.

Then I animated the camera panning around the scene and exported it.
