This is the final product of the last few weeks of the 3D object pipeline.
To start off, I needed to fix my atrocious UVs from last week to make them easier to paint and and to avoid any issues with overlapping and non-straight UVs.
From there I exported the new UVs and baked them in substance painter. Then I spent some time painting the final textures onto the object. I wanted it to look old and weathered, so I scuffed up the wood texture, added some dirt, and chose a rusted, broken iron for the metal parts. I also chose some damaged leather which luckily hid some of the remaining poor geo from the initial ZBrush DynaMesh.
Then I exported the final maps into Unreal Engine and created a material. I added a lighting set up and some atmospheric elements.
The final step was to render a short video to show off my work.
